BioIstra is an association founded on November 23, 1998 with the aim of promoting sustainable development in Istria. We have participated in many fairs for the promotion of Istrian products and producers, as well as in many conferences. Our leader Vlasta Radoičić has a master's degree in biotechnological sciences, B.Sc. ing. of biochemical and food engineering, and nutritionist and professor of gastronomy. She also has the role of advisor for sustainable development of the Istrian County, and is always available to help members of the association for issues in these areas. Many of our members are volunteers and friends of the association who share common goals: sustainability of biodiversity and natural wealth of our beautiful region, achieving greater production efficiency while preserving natural resources, and mutual assistance through better connection of all involved in the life of Istria.
